The two day (Dec. 10-11) national workshop was intended for research scholars and academics. It covered all the topics from fundamentals to the advanced level applications of mass spectrometry. There were two sessions for the instrument demonstration also. The speakers were Dr. M. Vairamani (SRM University, Chennai), Dr. K. Madhusudanan (IUIC, M. G. University), Dr. R. Srinivas (National Center for Mass Spectrometry, CSIR-IICT, Hyderabad) and Prof. Athula Attygalle (Stevens Institute of Technology, USA). There were nearly 100 participants in the workshop.
